Anuradhapura Dansala – Poson Poya
The Anuradhapura Dansala is held annually on every Poson Poya Day. This initiative of the Wickramaratne Group has been a long standing CSR project that has continuously reflected its company’s commitment to the Sri Lankan community and its culture. This year’s Anuradhapura Dansala was held for the 13th consecutive year providing food, ice cream and drinking water until late in the evening for thousands of individuals who attended. A successful conclusion to the evening’s celebration was marked by a very peaceful Bhakthi Geetha ceremony that offered those in attendance an opportunity to participate in a meaningful way and enrich their spiritual lives.
Distribution of School Stationary
The distribution of school stationery was organized by the Wickramaratne Welfare Society. This yearly initiative is directed toward the children of our valued employees, through which we distribute essential school supplies such as books, shoes, and complete stationery packs each and every year. This meaningful initiative helped all families of our beloved employees to prepare for the school term while in the meantime strengthening the bond between the company and its people
Flood Donation 2025
The Wickramaratne Group carried out a continuous 4-day relief programme to provide all flood victims with meals, such as rice and curry, and bread for supper. The ultimate goal of this programme was to provide nourishment and offer support to the victims at a time of great distress to our community.
Kataragama Esala Dansala
The Wickramaratne Group held their Kataragama Esala Dansala event providing food and drinks for all the pilgrims who were travelling to Kataragama during this important religious annual pilgrimage month. This brought a sense of connection with the community to support those who are making the long and difficult journey. This program was an opportunity to reflect our strong commitment in supporting our local community through acts of kindness and compassion.
